General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Yes, you are suggested to get connected to a gynae if you are pregnant, you will need regular check-up & follow up routine examinations.

Ideally, medications are not prescribed during pregnancy unless much needed. Uricalm should only be taken under a doctor's prescription & supervision.

You should discuss with your treating doctor regarding all the medications you have been taking.

The treating doctor may reduce the dose or stop the medication if needed.

Never take medications without consultation of a doctor especially if you are pregnant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
