Is Tramadol An Effective Alternative For Oxycodone?
I had an out patient medical procedure today, and was prescribed Oxycodone 5/325. It does not relief my pain. I have 50 mg Tramadole holeft over from a procedures about 8 months ago and is not expired and was wondering if I could can take the Tramadole instead of the Oxycodone. Of course I will not mix the medicines.

Both Ocycodone and Tramadol are opioid drugs, which means they have a very similar mechanism of action. If you feel Tramadol does it for you, I recommend you talk to your doctor first so they can switch your prescription accordingly.
