Hi Dr.My wife and I are 37 years old and recently decided to have a second baby but my wife is having irregular periods since last 1 year and her LMP was 30th July and she is not pregnant.Recently she found staining but that s it and not a regular period..We were suggested AMP & USG TVS (PCOS &ET) by a doctor. Plus she is taking thyronorm 75 mg since January. She is overweight .She is 5.4Feet with 90 kgs.Her periods were never a problem until last year May. Do you suggest we should try to have a baby or we should not?
HELLO USER,yes, you can have the baby..go for follicular study and take clomiphene from 2nd day of the period under gynecologist..you can check your serum tsh again to know the value and further alteration in dose of thyronorm if required, after consulting your physician.by doing follicular study you will know exact time of ovulation,so that you can keep relationship around ovulation for early results.thanks.
