Is Tacoma Effective In The Treatment Of Typhoid?

I suffering typhoid disease.last 8 days. Doctor given Tacoma 400 mg two times vibact capsule two times. Solo and mental 500 for fever. I pai in stomach and periodical high fever.now pain in stomach reduced fever is also reduced. Now doctor suggested low power Tacoma 200 instead of 400 mg. For two days. Now fever is coming two/three times.is this treatment is right one or am recover from this disease?

Hi,

* As per my clinical experience, ofloxacin (Tacoma) has best results in typhoid fever.
* You may have certain temperature spikes during recovery, but continue the dosage only as per doctor`s guidelines.
* Additional measures to recover faster

- Drink more liquids, preferably boiled water, lemon juice, coconut water, homemade juices.
- Prefer a bland, vegan diet.
- Avoid all spices, nonveg, junk foods, dairy fat.
- Avoid smoking or alcohol if using.
- Manage adequate rest and sleep.
