Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Respected Doctor, My wife aged 27 years old and suffering from irregular bleeding (Mannorregia) last 4 yrs. After 4 times D&C and TCRE, she having same problem. Now, the Montex and TB gold both tests are +ve. And diagnosed TB in uterus. Please suggest, is it curable. Thanks n Regards.
It is of course curable with a stern and strict regimen, and probably even hospital admission a few times for short durations of time. But make sure she speaks to her gynaecologist as soon as the infection is treated, and it would also be best to plan conception at the earliest (soon after the infection is treated), as infertility can settle in as a complication of TB of the reproductive system.
Best wishes.
