Is STD Possible While Having Multiple Sexual Partner?

I am extremely worried about my best friend. She had unprotected sex with her female classmate from 2004 to 2007 (lesbian). She moved on to have a boyfriend & had unprotected sex with him as well for about 4 yrs. She had oral sex with two other partners for about a year. Now she is married to another man. Do you think she has STD ?

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Well, it is not necessary that she has an STD for sure, but indulging in so many partners and having unprotected sex, does pose a significant risk of acquiring STDs.

What she can do is visit a dermatologist (preferably female) and get herself voluntary testing for HIV and few other STDs like Herpes(HSV ELISA)and syphilis(VDRL).

Of course, if she has genital lesions or symptoms, she should definitely consult a dermatologist to rule out an STD(s)
