Is Robitussin For Cough And Cold Contraindicated With Bipolar Medications?

Hi. I m on seroquil 300mg at noon and then 300mg again at bedtime. At noon I also take my welbutrin 250mg and at night I take ambien 10mg. I am bipolar, as you probably guessed from the meds. I am also taking some cough medicine (robitussin DM) for a cold. And I feel like there is an interaction between the two. I feel a little loopy.

HI
Well come to HCM
If the cough is not sever enough, no fever, no headache, then no need to take cough medicine, if this is necessary because of the reasons given here then you can have this, and there would not be any interaction between bipolar medicine and cough medicines, hope this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
