Is Regestrone Advisable For Delaying Periods?

I want to plan baby.. My husband works in Bangalore.. He will come on 24 march for three days... But my expected period date is 6march.. So that will be 20th day and no chance of getting pregnant.. So I want my period to get delayed by 4-5 days ...is registron tablet suitable for me. And what will be the dosages..plz suggest

I can understand your situation.
Yes, it is advisable for delaying the periods.
If you are not taking any oral contraceptive pills, to delay your period you need to take one tablet of Regestrone (5 mg) 3 times a day, beginning 3 days before you expect your period to start (March 6th). You should take the tablets at the same time every day, one in the morning, one around midday and one in the evening.
Continue it for the days you want to delay your period. Then stop the medicine and wait for 7 days. Withdrawal bleeding will occur within this time period. Since this is a prescription medication you need to take it from your local doctor. Hope this works.
