Is Proanagen Tablet Safe While Getting Pregnant?
Hi , I am facing problem with too much hair fall..I am 32 year old woman. I consulted one hair clinic yesterday and she suggested to use Tugain gel 5% and PROANAGEN TABLET. I am trying to get pregnant as well. Could you please advise if these medicine are safe to take?

Proanagen tablet contains Biotin, Calcium Pantothenate, Cyanocobalamin, Elemental Chromium, Elemental Copper, Elemental Manganese, Elemental Zinc, Folic Acid, Glycine, Green Tea Powder, L-Arginine, L-Lysine, L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate, Methylsulfonylmethane and Pyridoxine as active ingredients. That is, it is composed of vitamin and mineral preparations.
It is used for hair loss and alopecia, as it provides essential nutrients to hair roots. High doses of this medication are not recommended for use during pregnancy. Tugain 5% Gel is an antihypertensive medication 'minoxidil', which is also used to promote hair growth. It should be used for 3 to 4 months to see the hair growth. This medication is not recommended for pregnant women.
Hence, you need to plan accordingly for pregnancy if you are on these medications.
