Is Prednisone Liquid Advisable For Cough In Infants
My 10 month old daughter has croup (stridor and barking cough). I have some prednisone liquid (5mg/mL) that was prescribed for my son (age 3 years). Can I give it to my daughter? If so, what dose should I giver her? She weighs 9 kilograms. Thanks, Kate

Well you can give a single dose as the coughing is like a croup. You can give her 2.5 cc stat.
For the next doses and an additional treatment you should ideally visit the Pediatrician for a proper clinical examination , diagnosis and treatment, as your child is so small.
