Is Paracetamol The Right Medicine For Fever?

Hello sir/mam.. My son is 3yrs old. He is suffering from fever from last 6days. Consulting to a doctor m giving him medicines. M giving combiflam 6ml 4times a day (6hrly) with antibiotic monocef-d 100. 2.5ml. Fever is coming back just after 4hrs. M helpless at that time to give paracetamol as doctor has recommended to give in 6hrs time interval. Also sometimes the fever comes so high 104.3 and in empty stomach, that time I m forced to give paracetamol combiflam in empty stomach which is harmful for him doctor says. Both of his eyes infected and swelling. Plz suggest me what to do as I m so afraid of . Regards Rasmi

Since fever is for 6 days and you are giving paracetamol , combiflam ( paracetamol +ibuprofen ) and monocef-d ( antibiotics .
As you stated in the query that eyes are infected and swollen ( in my opinion eyes may be red due to high fever).
It is very hard to establish any diagnosis merely on the basis of this query .
So the best way is to consult one more pediatrician and get his opinion ( 2nd opinion must as 6 days passed)
However ice massage will lower down temperature for some time.
