Is Ornidzole-ofloxine combination do work forIrritable bowel syndrome?

I am living with IBS for past 10 years. I am suffering a spell of bloating, irregular bowels (sometimes constipation, sometimes frequent unformed stool)....this morning it is like the food is in foodpipe....have undergone Ornidzole-ofloxine combination for five days twice a day.....pls help Riyaz Masroor, 36 Journalist Kashmir , India

Looks like you are suffering from gastroesophageal reflux disease along with irritable bowel. I would advise you to get a endoscopy done. Avoid spicy food, coffee, smoking, alcohol etc if in case. Take less oily food and avoid too much meat. If the symptoms worsen call the emergency number and consult a gastroenterologist. I hope i have answered your query. Take care

Hi.. Antibiotics can induce gastritis and reflux symptoms.. Try simple antacids which are easily available as syrups.. Reduce caffeine and hot spicy food... Good sleep and physical exercises will also help..
