Hello dear Understand your concern First you have to find the cause of irregular period by consulting the gynecologist after proper investigation: Hormonal imbalance, thyroid dysfunction, ovarian dysfunction/PCOS, endometriosis, bleeding disorder. Investigations: Hormone analysis- FSH, LH, E2, progesterone, prolactin, and thyroid hormone, USG scan, endometrial biopsy, BT, CT, APTT, ovarian follicle study. Treatment will depend on the cause. Generally in hormonal imbalance, orgametril should be given to induce the period (in second phase of cycle). It contain synthetic progesterone and promote the endometrial growth and when you stops withdrawal bleeding will take place. Avoid stress, drink plenty of fluid, eat healthy diet with iron and vitamin supplements. Hope this may help you Contact HCM for further health query Best regards Dr. Sagar
