Is Omnacortil Safe For An Infant?
My child is 5 months old n about 6.5kg. She is suffering from cold cough n heavy congestion. She was under medication but now doctor has suggested to also take Omnacortil 2ml thrice in a day. But d pharmacist told me it is used for children 1 yr n above n it is a steroid. Can u please tell me whether it is safe or no for infants....

Can be given to children of 3 months of age and older. 1 to 2 mg/kg/dose oral. Calculate the dose and give. Can give a single dose or divided dose.
