Is Omnacortil Forte Safe For Children?
my 5 year old daughter has been advised to take Omnacortil Forte for last 3 weeks to cure persistent cough. There is an improvement seen in her cough, but cough is still persisting. Understanding that this drug is a kind of steroid; shall we continue with this?

If required, and taken under proper supervision of doctor and if not given over long period then it is safe.It shows wonders if used properly. Only cough is not an indication. We use in asthmatic broncitis .Better if taken after food.Preferably morning time.Better to start after investigating completely.In asthama we normally give for 5-7 days.If severe then longer time
