Is Naturogest 200 To Be Taken Orally?
HI, my wife is 5 weeks pregnant and the doctor has prescribed the use of Naturogest 200. Now this can be used orally / through the vagina. We were not aware about it and my wife has been taking it orally. Is it fine to continue that way or should she take in the vagina?

Naturogest contains natural micronized progesterone.
It helps in maintenance of pregnancy.
This can be used orally or vaginally.
Vaginal route is having higher absorption rate.
Usually preferred in case of previous history of abortions, history of spotting etc in present pregnancy.
If your wife is using the tablet prophylactically, she can used it orally also.
Along with that taking folic acid supplementation, nutritious diet, adequate hydration and sufficient rest is adviced.
