Is Mupirocin Cream Advisable For Perioral Dermatitis?

I have been diagnosed with perioral dermatitis by my dermatologist. He prescribed Mupirocin cream. After a week of use, my face is much worse. His recommendation is to keep using the cream and only wash my face with warm water, and no make up. I work in a 5- Diamond hotel, and cannot come to work with a red scaly face. Is there some way to help mitigate the symptoms?? Any safe make up to use?

Hello,

As per the condition, perioral dermatitis can be due to many conditions Lipstick:

Zinc deficiency, Herpetic infection, Transmitted infection, PCOD, Tpoth paste allergy.

Some rare cases, maybe due to immunodeficiency, proper evaluation and treatment will help you in most cases

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
