Is Morphine Advisable During Rehabilitation Of Broken Bones

I we been taking Methadone for 16 yrs. Being a person who has over 30 fractured bones including my back and right two yrs ago. My Dr. Retired and now I am left hanging. The new Dr. Same clinic said no way he will prescribe Methadone and wants me to go back to Er morphine. Oh that s real smart I am very aware of all side effects etc. Am 54 yrs old need a right knee replaced and pain mess. That have worked for 16 yrs. AAfteR fetnol. Morphine and other i Opioids. Have failed thank you

I really appreciate your concern, for the pain narcotic is not the whole option but it is just addiction and nothing else pain can be managed even without the medicine if you are just worry about the pain, try to bear the pain as hard as you could, and it will be fine soon, but for the addiction you have to go to see the concern medical team hope this information helps.
