Is Mometasone Furoate Cream Advisable For Redness And Itching Around The Eye?

Sir i developed redness around corner of my eyes and also feeling lot of itchiness. Doctor prescribed me Mometasonefl furoate cream Ip. Also omega 3 capsules and allegra medicine. Though redness has reduced buy noy completely ans also itchiness still persists.am i takinh right medication

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have redness and itching around the eye. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergy , blepharitis , sleep deprivation or sinusitis . I would suggest you to wash your eyes with cold water , do not apply any cosmetic , you can apply Mometasone Furoate cream but after recommendation of expert and take benadryl twice a day. Consult ophthalmologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to allergy specialist .
