Is Mifegest Kit The Right Method To Abort Pregnancy?

I had an unsafe sex 10-15 days back. I did not get my normal periods which should have happened on 02-11-2015. I checked the pregnancy test. The urine pregnancy test is positive. Hence i and my husband have decided to go for Mifegest kit. It is a combination of Mifepristone and Misoprosol tablest. I am completely aware of the protocol of taking the tables. I am 34 years old and very normal working professional. Please advice on when will the periods be normal?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have got pregnant. You want abortion for that, well i don't recommend abortions. If you are not prepared you should take proper precautions. You should take proper preventive methods to avoid it. Now i would suggest you to take Mifegest kit/ Unwanted kit which is used for the medical method of abortion as this contains the tablets mifepristone and misoprostol which is an effective method of abortion for pregnancies less than 7 weeks gestation. Otherwise, you may have complications like uncontrolled bleeding or incomplete abortion. I would suggest you to do it under supervision of medical practitioner after getting transvaginal ultrasonography.
