Is Midodrine 5 Mg The Right Medicine For Low Blood Pressure?

I am a fitness instructor I was diagnose years ago with low blood pressure and take medication for it now called midodrine only 5 mg a day. Recently we put in my zone which gives us access to hooking up our heart rates to a projector by use of a belt by the heart to monitor our intensity. I would have thought I would be low but surprised that I have a pretty high heart rate on regular basis. Should I be concerned? oh I also had heart attack at age 21 from bulimia which I am no longer since 12 years no damage to heart just elevated enzymes.

Midodrine is used in the management of many types of hypotension. Regarding the heart rate, you have not mentioned the exact high rate. I would be very much concerned if my patient is clocking more than 100 beats per minute most of the times.
Midodrine is used for hypotension and regarding your concern for increased heart rate; please consider a cardiologist consultation.
