Is Metformin Right Medication To Lower Blood Sugar Levels?

Hello. I just find out I got 19.6 Sugar level. And I started taking Metformin as my friends advice to lower my diabetes. My question is it possible? Because I had PCOS now and I am only taking herbal supplement to cure this. Please do respond on my email. Thanks.

Yes, it is true that metformin lower blood sugar level, but one single finding of elevated blood sugar level doesn't mean that you have diabetes.

Also, after the diagnosis of diabetes is established, only a doctor can decide which drug fits better for your disease, in this case diabetes.
