Is Medroxyprogesterone Advisable Post Unprotected Sex?
Hi, I had unprotected sex almost 3 weeks ago (two tuesdays ago). I take Medroxyprogestrone because I have irregular periods. I take it from the 1st day of every month to the 10th. I took pregnancy tests about a week ago but they were cheap ones and Im not sure I waited long enough to take them. They were negative. Should I wait to see if I get my period? If im pregnant and i take all dosages of Medroxyprogestrone, will I not get a period?

If you are pregnant then taking medroxyprogesterone will not help getting your periods. Also taking medroxyprogesterone is not advised, if you are pregnant.
First of all you should confirm that you are pregnant or not. Sometimes urine pregnancy test(UPT) can be negative in starting of pregnancy. This is due to lesser amount of HCG hormone in urine.
With Progression of pregnancy HCG hormone in urine increases & becomes more detactable in urine. So you should redo a UPT by first urine of morning. Alternatively you can do a Blood pregnancy test.
