Is MRCT Necessary And Is It Curable By Medication?

Dear Doctor,

My x -ray report says that an ill defined small homogeneous opacity noted in both right upper zone, superimposed over the right anterior 2 nd rib and posterior 5th rib. My doctor suggested me to take a mrct for clinical correlation and further evaluation. Please advise me is MRCT necessary and is it curable by medication.

Hi,

Sorry to hear about this. But Yuvaraaj what was the reason for getting an Xray? Did you have fever or cough or was it done during a routine check up?

If it was done during a routine checkup that it is likely to be due old healed TB Infection (assuming you are from India)
