Is Lupron Intake Safe In The Treatment Of Prostate Cancer?

How dangerous is Lupron, for use in prostate cancer? I had my prostate removed by September and now I had a PSA of .18 in February and a PSA of .39 in May. Now my urologist wants to put me on Lupron, since my PSA doubled. But I see online there s a lot of stories about bad side effects from Lupron.

Hi,

Lupron is a synthetic hormone, used in the treatment of many diseases and also prostate cancer. Its effective and of course may have many side effects howe'ver there nothing like causing cancer etc.

Before starting we generally rally calculate the cardiac risk if that's not high mostly it is given and is safe and effective. So we understand like all drugs, it can have its side effects but the drug generally good to use when needed.
