General & Family Physician 's  Response
Lovastatin is a hypolipidemic drug which is given in patients with dyslipidemia either isolated or in association with patients having Diabetes, Hypertension and other components of metabolic syndrome.. It has varied actions apart from lipid lowering like plaque stabilisation and anti oxidant properties..Few reports of anti hypertensive action has also been documented but in my opinion and knowledge it's blood thinning action is not been reported
As per the intake of clonazepam, it must taken under supervision of psychiatrist to ensure non dependence of the same
