Is Lonazep Effective For General Anxiety Disorder?

I am suffering from generalised anxiety disorder and I am 16 yrs old girl my doctor prescribed me lonazep md 0.25 medicine for 10 days to eat before sleeping and prodep after breakfast for 20 days nd my course of 10 days was completed day before yesterday but after discontinuation of lonazep yesterday I suffered from a severe headache nd it was like my veins will burst nd my breath and heart beat was also very fast. I am not able to conclude that I should continue to eat the medicine or discontinue the other one also...

Hello.Clonazepam is an effective drug for your condition but its intake can not be stopped abruptly, is normal to have a headache if discontinued abruptly.
Fluoxetine is not the most appropriate medication to treat General Anxiety Disorder, your doctor should consider replacing Fluoxetine by Paroxetine or Escitalopram.
