Is Lonazep A Safe Medication?

I suffer from sleeplessness and acute nervousness and severely excited over small issues. My heart beats faster and sometimes it pains around my chest. Is lonazep safe? I did all the tests my doc referred and he said that my reports are normal. I currently take two .5 mg lonazep daily. Please help. I am suffering from tb and currently taking rcinex, combutol 800 and benadon 40 running 4th month.

Thanks for writing in HCM.
Lonazep, what you are taking for sleeplessness and acute nervousness is ok to be taken for short periods. You should not depend on it as long term medication is known to cause liver, kidney and lung problems.
Kindly reduce the dosage slowly and stop using it. Practice yoga and meditation exercises to get good sleep on your own.
Other drugs mentioned for TB should be taken continuously for a period of 6 months.
