Is Livoluk Safe For Treatment Of Constipation In Children?

Hi.. My baby is having constipation problem since birth , her doctor told me to give livoluk and she is having livoluk 7.5ml from 2 months and she told me to give her for next one n half months. I read that overdose of livoluk effects baby's liver. Is it true, should I continue to give livoluk to my baby?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. I request you to tell me your baby's age. I also need to know I other conditions which cause constipation have been ruled out or not. 2 questions -
1. What is the kid's age
2. Did the kid pass motion in the 1st 24 hours of life.
It could be habitual constipation...but I would like to rule out congenital conditions like Hirschsprung's disease. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time.
