Is Lisinopril The Right Medicine For High Blood Pressure?

I am a 48 years old female. My blood pressure has been high for a few days now. I am taking Lisinopril 40 mg and HCTZ 25 mg. My blood pressure is running high still it s been 175/ 115 to 180/119. Even when I first wake up its 171/112. My question is can I take 2 of the Lisinopril? I don t have a doctor here yet we just moved here. Is it high enough to go to ER

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
No, there is no need to go to ER. You can take two tablets of lisonopril.
You should go to ER if it is more than 180 systolic and you started with headache, vomiting or chest pain, blurring of vision or systolic BP crosses 220 with no other sign and symptoms.
Hope it helps best.
