Is Lisinopril The Right Medicine For Fluctuating Blood Pressure?

Yes, I have been feeling lightheaded not just for a few minutes but it has lasted sometime for several hours, sometimes all day. Also my blood pressure is fluctuating. Has been doing this for several weeks now even with taking my medication, which is lisinopril, (40mg). My blood pressure will range from 150 over 77 to 181 over 74, when it usually was in the 130 over 76 or in that range for many years. Am wondering if I could be heading for a stroke. I am 85yrs. old and have been pretty healthy up until this episode. Thank you for your response.
