Is Insulin Shot Advisable While Having Acute Bronchitis?

I have type 2 diabetes and take slow acting insulin, 50 units. My blood sugar is 123, just a few minutes ago and I have acute bronchitis, having beening eating well or at all. Do I still give myself the insulin shot? I m afraid that my sugar will drop more while sleeping!
