Is IUI Or IVF The Better Option With Only One Fallopian Tube?
I am 33 yrs old woman, 5'2" n 78Kgs. I had an ectopic pregnancy in my right tube which was removed through medications 4yrs ago. Then had to remove my right tube due to hydrosalpinx 3 yrs ago. After this I had conceived through follicular monitoring n stimulation but it turned out to be weakly positive followed by an failed IUI. My doubt is what happens to the eggs released in my right ovary as there is no tube for it to travel down. I have always found that my right ovary responds to medicines better than left. Should I try for an IUI again or should go for an IVF. I also have an history of PCOD due to which my periods are irregular.

Is IUI Or IVF The Better Option With Only One Fallopian Tube?
Hi, Welcome to healthcare magic. I have read your question. I would like to reply as below: 1) IVF is a better option. 2) One tube has less chance of pregnancy. 3) More over your age is higher. 4) Go for IVF soon. If you have any further queries, let me know so that I can help you much better. Wish you good health. Dr. Soumya
