Is IBS Related With Excess Bloating And Constipation?
Im a 18 year old female and suddenly I have been dealing with alternating diarrhea and constipation along with a lot of gas and bloating. I have never had stomach issues before, and for 2 weeks now I ve had these never ending symptoms. I also get sudden urges to go to the bathroom but all that comes out it a lot of gas and this really light brown mucus stuff. Please help me I think it is IBS but i want to know for sure along with what I can do to reverse it. Thank you.

While this could be IBS, it also could be a bacterial colon infection or an H pylori stomach infection.
For now, probiotics and the BRAT diet--bananas, rice, applesauce and toast can help, but you should see a doctor for an exam and tests
