General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
Normal HbA1c value is less than 6 %. So your HB1Ac is very high alog with high blood sugar suggests diabetes melitus 2.
You have to strictly follow the diabetologist advice to manage the blood sugar.
Take medicine particularly at specific time and take your usual diet after that.
Shaky feeling, breakout and felling sickness is due to glucose lowering effect of the metformin.
So take proper diet after taking metformin. Do regular light exercise, avoid excessive sweets, oily and spicy foods. Take more salad, green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits.
Hope this may help you
