Hello, my question is... I got HPV through sexual intercourse . I got it from my x boyfriend several years ago. during my relationship with him, he told me that he and his family had wart problems since he was little and that i was the first person he had sexual relations with. He even took me to his family doctor to proof me he was telling me the truth because it seemed unbeliavable to me that i was the first one he was ever with. the doctor did said that he and his family had that problem since he was little and the way that my boyfriend got me infected is by him touching my private parts with his firngers. He had a wart on his finger . but when i went for my second check up with my gynecologist i told her what the doctor told me and she laught saying that the only way to transmitt HPV was through sexual intercourse, which means that she affirm that my boyfriend lied to me about him not been with another person before me. I don t know who to believe now and i need an answer from another professional.
