Hello,

Thnx to contact us. I understand your concern.

If I am your treating doctor I advice you that washing with soap alone is sufficient to clear HIV virus. HIV is very fragile to extreme environment condition and immediately killed thereafter. It cant survive even more than half an hour in normal atmosphere. So do not worry you are safe.
I will be happy to answer more of your concerns, kindly know me,
Wish you a very good health at health care magic.

Infectious Diseases Specialist Dr. Arun's  Response
Hello,

Thnx to contact us. I understand your concern.

If I am your doctor I advice you that once the tooth brush is washed by the soap there is no chance of residual virus in the brush. Also HIV virus is very sensitive to environmental stress, it already been 25 hours passed so chances of HIV survival is not there. So in my opinion you are safe from HIV.
