Is HIV Test Advisable For A Person With Pleural Effusion?
I had extrapulmonary TB with pleural effusion just last Dec 2015. all tests are negative, so they had me on Myrin P Forte. I gradually felt better. back in March 2013 I had Pneumonia and had tested HIV and was negative. should I still get an HIV test?
If the HIV test conducted was more than 6 months ago, then the test will not be valid and if there is some procedure requiring most recent HIV status, then you will have to retest.
Best wishes.
