Is HIV Infection Possible After Protected Oral Sex?

Some days ago I had a prostitute giving me oral-sex, I was wearing a condom given to me by her, what s the possibility a can catch HIV or other sexual transmitted diseases? What if the condom was second-hand? I also saw a scratch on my penis, what if the condom broke? Thanks

Hi..The risk of HIV transmission is extremely low after oral intercourse when compared to that following vaginal or anal intercourse..As you have already used a condomn , the chances are almost nil of getting HIV..Scratch on your penis may be an extra risk , but as you have used a condomn you need not worry..Still if you have a doubt as if the condomn was broken, you can get a p24 antigen assay after 2 weeks which will exclude HIV, if you have a serious doubt about it.
