Is Gyargin Safe For A Pregnant Woman?

Hi, I m in second trimester and my Gynec has prescribed 1 Gyargin pouch a day. I have read many articles citing excess use of L-Arginine is not good during pregnancy. I have been using it since my 4th month and now I m in 5th month of pregnancy. Is it safe for long term use? My BP is under control and not having any preeclampsia. Recently few days ago, got my GTT done and gestational diabetes has been detected for which I need to consult the doctor today again.

hi
thanksfor the query
l arginine is an aminoacid (primmitive form of proteins )is essential for building up body, by improving blood suply to fetus. There are no known contraindicagions for it's use in pregnancy... no harm to baby was found in scientific studies when taken in recomended dose .maximally (6 - 30 g perday)
So you should follow your doctor's advise for he knows better about your health &pregnancy.
