Is Geritol The Right Medicine To Increase The Chances Of Pregnancy?

hello I m a 42 year old African American woman, been married 6 years, have a hormonal balance, no period for 5 years. want to have a baby. should I take geritol complete just to try and see if I will be able to have periods again and become pregnant?

I understand your concern.
Geritol is a multivitamin with iron and multimineral supplement. It does improve the general condition of the body but does not correct hormonal imbalance or fertility status of an individual.
Since you haven't had periods for 5 years, it is a serious concern which should have been evaluated by now. Since your age is 42, it might be difficult to induce and make you conceive with hormonal supplementation as the egg reserves would have been low.
In any case, in case you need to get pregnant, you need a complete work-up of fertility profile with blood tests along with investigations such as ultrasound scan and HSG to evaluate what would suit you the best.
In case you are able to ovulate well, you can go for invitro fretilization (IVF) procedure to conceive. In case your egg reserves are low, you can give a try with IVF procedure with donor egg.
