Is Fusidic Eye Drops Advisable For An Infant With Eye Irritation?
Hi, my baby girl is 9 months old and i just noticed yesterday that her left eye is a little bit red, i took her to the doctor and he prescribed an eye drop called ofusidic 1% eye drops twice daily for 5 days, i gave her only one time however I m a little bit worried because she s very young, can you please help me?

Redness in the eye is indicative of the presence of infection, specially if accompanied by pus discharge.
Fusidic eye ointment is a good eye drop which takes care of common germs which cause eye infection, in children.
I suggest you complete the course prescribed by your doctor, with out any worry and your baby will be fine. Pls apply in both eyes.

If your counter any problem like worsening of redness or eye irritation then immediately consult your doctor and wash her eyes with cold water .
