Is Fucidin Ointment Advisable For Acne?

Hello Dr I have had acne for 10 years I have taken acuten azithomycin many times and i have tried fusidin h , clobedern cream as well but response is zero ,, I get pimple which does not have puss in it and a single pimple get 4 month to get mature and brust, right now I m just using fusidin only but no result plz help

Hi,

Treatment of acne depends on the severity of the disease. Topical antibiotics that we like here include clindamycin or erythromycin. There is also another cream especially Isotretinoin. But these are for mild disease.

Oral tablets isotretinoin are extremely effective but only advised by a specialist.

I would suggest you should talk to a dermatologist in this regards as what might be proper for you.
