Hello Yasmin is a low dose oral contraceptive pill with anti androgenic properties , that s why in few patient it produces pain ( however it is uncommon ) . Anyway , you are having pain after one month of its use , so you can use another oral contraceptive i.e femilon . This is a combination of hormones e.g. desogestrel + ethinylestradiol , usually this don t produces such type of pain as you were feeling with yasmin . Minor side effects , you may feel as intermenstrual bleeding or breast tenderness or enlargement or mild degree secretions but these side effects are transient and just for short period .
