Hi, I have had pain in my L anterior lower neck that I describe as like when you get that sharp brainfreeze pain from drinking cold too fast . My PCP could not palpate but drew TSH and T4 and sent me for ultrasound. Labs WNL, ultrasound report says multinodular goiter, largest 0.9x0.6x0.7 with normal vascular noted bilaterally. Should I go for FNA or just wait and watch?
Hello thank you for posting your query in HMC. I suggest you to go for FNAC. It is done to rule out the presence of any malignancies provided that if you have symptoms like persistent fever, night sweats, weight loss. If it is single or multi nodules, it is always recommended to do FNAC. hope i have answered your question. If you have further questions i will be happy to help.
