Is Enterogermina Advisable For Diarrhea?
I ve had diarrhea for the past 4 days but no stomach problem or fever. I have not eaten much other than toast and banana. My Wife from Ecuador has said to use Enterogermina and I m wondering if that is a over counter drug or what can I buy over the counter. I m 69 and I ve traveled from India, Ecuador and USA in the past 1 week.

Enterogermina contains a spore-forming bacteria living in the soil. It has a symbiotic relation to host bacteria (lactobacillus)... & can pass through acidic stomach medium to service in intestines & combat pathological bacteria... to control bowel infection. That is why it is recommended in diarrhea. I am afraid it is not over the counter drug... needs a prescription & you will get it online.
