Is Duphaston Effective In Treatment Of Irregular Periods?

I am 23 yrs married. I was having irregular periods and in the scan report swelling in ovaries was diagnosed. So doctor advised me to take chrominac A and myocyst for four months. Periods was regular during the medication. Then I moved to Saudi with my husband on Dec 26. I got periods on 28th. After that on Feb 9 and now nothing. I am not getting periods for 2 months. Pregnancy tests are negative. Here the doctor advised me to take duphaston for 5 days. But still no periods. I am trying to conceive. Should i continue with duphaston? I had a 6 kg weight gain and obesity. Am I having pcos?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the pregnancy is the main concern then let me tell you that this is more natural phenomenon than the physiological one and may not need any medicines some time if this is going to happens then it can even without the medicine and if does not then even after taking medicines this may not take place so in my opinion just keep trying for the same regardless what medicines are going on or not, hope this helps, good luck.
