Is Duphaston 10mg Safe To Take During Pregnancy?
Hi , I am 8 weeks pregnant ,This is my 1st pregnancy. Day before yesterday we went for outing after that I had brown discharge. Sometime , I had bright red clotting . I have discussion with the doctor, she recommend to take DUPHASTON 10 mg or naturogest 200 mg. Is it save to take in pregnancy?

Duphastan (dydrogesterone) is a synthetic progesterone which supports and maintains a normal pregnancy and thus it is commonly prescribed to reduce the risk of threatened or recurrent miscarriage during pregnancy. It is considered to be safe during pregnancy. Naturogest is also a progesterone used for the same purpose and found to be safe during pregnancy.
