Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand Your concern.
Diprofos contains betamethasone dipropionate and betamethasone sodium phosphate. It can help in relieving urticaria. However it is long acting steriod and most potent. It has numerous side effects if used for long time. Peptic ulcer, osteoporosis, hypertension, diabetes, pancreatitis, skin thinning, Cushing syndrome.
I would like to advise you to inject it when pruritus is out of proportion not controlling with antiallergic
H1 blocker like cetrizine 10 mg and H2 blocker like cimetidine 400 mg for at least 20 days and oral steroids like prednisolone.
Wear loose clothes, sooth your body with cold bath or soothing reliever cream, avoid harsh soaps, keep diary with yourself; to know where we're you when you have urticaria, what were you doing, eating etc. this will help you identify triggers, avoid known triggers like some foods, alcohol, drugs, parasites.
If the problem still persist then do ultrasound of hepatobiliary tract to ruled out primary biliary cirrhosis and full blood count to ruled polycythemia, and eosinophil count to ruled out parasitic infestation.
If it was idiopathic means cause was unknown
You can go for omalizumab, ticrolimus and mycophenolate mofetil.
Hope it helps best.
