Is Cytotec Advisable For Abortion?

Hi I have 5 weeks pregnancy and i wanted to make an abortion with drugs. I have been advised by my gynecologist to take the first dose of cytotec in the morning and the second one after 12h. After the first dose I had a short bleeding episode followed by few spots ( brown. After the second pill the bleeding was slightly and I have been advised to take the next third pill and the forth one after 3 hours. Still very few brownie spots and slight red bleeding. I have eliminated few clots and I have some cramps but nothing else. What should I do? I am traveling abroad and I will be back home within a week. Thanks a lot for your reply. Ile

Understand your concern
Cytotec contain misoprostol that causes uterine contaction and lead to abortion.
Bleeding and abdominal pain continue for next 5-7 days.
But you should consult the gynecologist
And undergo
Pelvic examination, abdomianl/transvaginal USG to know the remaining product.
If there is remaining product, it should be removed by D & C procedure otherwise it can cause continuous bleeding and septic shock like condition.
Better to consult the gynecologist before travelling.
